Material Description
A modified Polyphenylene Oxide - Styrene (PPO), Noryl exhibits unusually low moisture absorption, provides excellent insulating properties and dimensional stability over a wide range of humidity and temperature. Thus Noryl exhibits electrical insulating properties and long-term dimensional stability. This alloy composition also makes Noryl one of the few non-metallic materials that can be electroplasted. Noyl also has superior impact strength, is light-weight, and is hydrolytically stable. It may be used continuously at temperatures in excess of 220°F. To enhanced mechanical and thermal performance, glass fiber fill may be added.
